MBYC members wishing to utilize reciprocal moorage must fly the club burgee and present a current membership card upon registration. For maps and further detailed information see the reciprocal book in the clubhouse. The following list is incomplete, but does contain information pertaining to most MBYC Reciprocal clubs in our cruising area.

Bellingham Yacht Club - 47°45.20’ - 122°30.40’ Although the B.Y.C. does not have guest moorage, the Port of Bellingham has made over 300’ of moorage space available in the Eastern moorage basin, below the clubhouse on a first-come-first-served basis. Reciprocal club members are invited to visit the club’s beautiful lounge for refreshments & snacks. Please also check at the clubhouse for current schedule of club restaurant services. website

Burrard Yacht Club - 49°18.45’ - 123°05.30’ B.Y.C. provides two 40’slips of guest moorage for reciprocal club visitors. The berths are located at the head of the dock in front of the tidal grid. Please bring your current membership card to the office and register as soon as possible after arriving. Club keys for the gate are available. 14 days maximum stay in one year, first 2 days free. website

Canadian Forces Sailing Association - 48°25.60’ - 123°25.90’ The C.F.S.A. moorage facilities are located in Esquimalt Harbor. (E side) in Constance Cove (NW side) just N. of Naval Dockyard. Reciprocal privileges are offered in their quiet setting. Best to call ahead or VHF ch. 16 for information. Approx. 70’ of dock space at the end of “A” dock is reserved for reciprocals. website

 

 

 

Campbell River - 49Ί 52’ N - 125Ί 06’W Entrance to Marina is immediately south of the Oyster River. Moorage is available on a 1st come basis - No reservations. Boats in excess of 40’ not recommended. No VHF service. Check availability by calling: 250 337-5600. Capital City Yacht Club – 48Ί40.48’ – 123Ί24.00’ C.C.Y.C. is located at Blue Heron Bay in Tsehum Harbour, Sidney BC. Upon arrival report to either our visitor’s booth or directly to the visitor’s dock (if space is available). We offer 48 hours of free moorage. Power is $2 per day. Should you wish to stay longer, moorage is $10 per day. Please fly your club burgee. website

Capital City Yacht Club 48°40.33'N123°25.1'W is located on the south east side of Blue Heron Basin, which is on the west side of Tsehum Harbour, Sidney BC. There is 100 feet of wharfage at the visitor's dock, as well as extra moorage available during the summer when member slips are vacant. Beware! There are sticks marking the channel to get to the yacht club. Depths are near 5 feet at low tide. (Note that this is not at zero tide, so depths may be even shallower. Length of Stay 2 days free twice a year, followed by a maximum of 5 days per visit at CDN$0.50 per ft per day. A total of 9 days per year. No boats are to be left unattended overnight. Comox Bay Yacht Club. Our club offers available slips at the Comox Valley Harbour Authority. Vessels may not be over 50 feet in length. There is a total of 100 feet of moorage available. The first night of moorage is free and subsequent nights are at the current rate. Reciprocal privileges are limited to two non-consecutive nights per year. When entering the harbour please call the Comox Valley Harbour Authority on 66A or telephone 339-6041.
A current 2006 club membership card must be shown upon arrival. Please fly your club burgee when in slip. The Comox Harbour is walking distance to shopping malls, liquor sales, restaurants/bars, golf, banks and banking machines.

Deep Bay Yacht Club – 49Ί27.90’ – 124Ί43.71’ D.B.Y.C. invites reciprocal club members to use DBYC moorage. Please contact Port Captain, Jennifer Vroegop at (250) 757-9211 for reciprocal instructions or read the instructions provided at our warfside clubhouse. website

Deep Cove Yacht Club – 49Ί19.67’ – 122Ί56.79’ D.C.Y.C. offers 48 hours reciprocal club moorage when available. Reciprocal clubs are loaned a key to the clubhouse which offers showers and toilets. Anyone without a holding tank must use club facilities due to the high levels of coliforn contamination in Deep Cove. website

 

 

 

 

 

Duwamish Yacht Club - 47°31.02’ - 122°18.50’ Located on the Duwamish River, 1/2 mile past the 14th Ave. Bridge. Vacant member slips are available for boats up to 50’. Small shopping centre within walking distance. Best to call ahead for moorage arrangements 767-9330 (Tuesday-Thursday only - 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Eagle Harbor Yacht Club – 49Ί21.89’ - 122°16.23’ E.H.Y.C. offers 1 slip per club per night (max. 3 slips or 100 ft) at the Winslow Wharf Marina for members in good standing of reciprocal clubs. Check in with the Winslow Wharf harbour master upon arrival, although best to call ahead (206) 842-4202.

Everett Yacht Club - 47°59.50’ - 122°13.50’ E.Y.C. reciprocal float is located across from the fuel dock at the northwest corner of the Port of Everet Marina. Nice modern float with ample electric service. Close to marina services. Maximum size boat allowable is 80’. Please register and pay at box. website

False Creek Yacht Club - 49°16.24’ - 123°07.54’ F.C.Y.C. is situated on the North side of False Creek in downtown Vancouver, opposite Granville Island Market and is accessed from the southeast corner of English Bay. Moorage space is limited, so please telephone ahead for reservations (604) 682-3292. All moorage is subject to availability. website

 

 

Fidalgo Yacht Club - 48°30.60’ - 122°36.20’ The reciprocal moorage for the F.Y.C. is at Cap Sante Marina, Port of Anacortes, in downtown Anacortes. There are two slips on “D” dock, which will handle boats up to 46’, (there is room for a third boat to raft up). There is a $3.00 charge for 30 Amp power. Contact the harbour master upon arrival.

Flounder Bay Yacht Club - 48°29.40’ - 122°40.60’ F.B.Y.C. is located in the Skyline Marina. The club dock, located in front of the Club building, is used for visitor check in only. The building is between “D” & “E” Docks. Follow the instructions given in the club building laundry room for slip assignment. website

 

 

 

 

Gibson Yacht Club. Gibson Yacht Club has developed an innovative way to provide reciprocal moorage. They are providing coupons for participating Yacht Clubs. A coupon can be redeemed for overnight moorage for an up to 36Ft boat. Members with larger boats can pay the difference in moorage fees. 10 coupons have been delivered to MBYC clubhouse for members wanting to stay at Gibson. website

Gig Harbor Yacht Club - 47°20.32’ - 122°35.22’ G.H.Y.C. has an 80 ft guest dock for reciprocal use at Peninsula Yacht Basin located on the shore side of the end of “A” dock. Rafting is permitted. Security gate instructions can be found in annual letter sent to your Yacht Club by G.H.Y.C. website

Kingston Cove Yacht Club  Port of Kingston offers 46 transient mooring stalls ranging between 24 feet 50 feet. In addition, the Port can accommodate larger vessels up to 125 feet. Transient moorage is on a first come first serve basis. Transient moorage is approximately $.45 per foot per day, with water and electricity available at each stall. Ladysmith Yacht Club - 48°59.90’ - 123°49.30’ The reciprocal moorage is located in Ivy Green Marina, Ladysmith Harbour. Check in at the marina and the Ladysmith Yacht Club will reimburse moorage fees. website

 

 

 

 

 

Nanaimo Yacht Club - 49°10.60’ - 123°56.35’ Located approx. 1 mi. N. of city centre at south entrance of Newcastle Island Passage (just across the channel from Bate Pt.). The club offers 700 ft. of reciprocal moorage on the outside of E, H, & J docks. Maximum boat size is 60 ft. website

Oak Harbor Yacht Club - 48°17.10’ - 122°38.10’ O.H.Y.C. provides 4 slips on the end of “F” dock in the Oak Harbor Marina on a first-come- first-served basis. Upon arrival, check in with the Harbor Master. The club is open Wednesday-Sunday nights. Restaurant service is generally available on weekends. Please check at club for dining schedule. website

Olympia Yacht Club - 47°02.8’ - 122°54.3’ Located adjacent to Percival Landing directly in front of Yacht Club Building. Sign in and acquire key card from Caretakers (deposit required). Closed Sunday & Monday - no key cards available. Occasional vacated member slips available if needed. Check w/Caretakers. website

Orcas Island Yacht Club is located at West sound Orcas Island 48.37.87N 122.57.59W Orcas Island Yacht Club offers 2 nights per year 200ft dock space, no reservations, rafting is OK, no power or water on dock No ph #  website

Point Roberts Yacht Club - 49°58.30’ - 123°03.60’ P.R.Y.C offers 2 days reciprocal moorage per year at the Point Roberts Marina guest dock “H”. Upon arrival check in with the dock master and show current membership card to be assigned moorage. The club has only 2 slips available for reciprocal moorage per day. A gate key must be obtained from the dock master with a deposit. website

Port Ludlow Yacht Club - 47°55.30’ - 122°41.10’ P.L.Y.C. offers 150’ of reciprocal moorage located just inside of the first pier (“A”), near the fuel dock. Visiting reciprocal yachtsmen are allowed 48 hrs. free moorage with 5 days/year maximum. Your current yacht club membership card is required.

Port Madison Yacht Club – P.M.Y.C. is located in Port Madison on the North end of Brainbridge Island (immediately West of the Seattle Yacht Club outstation). Guest dock is 100 feet in length. website

Port Orchard Yacht Club - 47°32.30’ - 122°38.50’ Located about 1/4 mi. W. of downtown Port Orchard on the S. side of Sinclare Inlet. The reciprocal dock is on the outside of the breakwater float indicated by signs. See posted instructions on docks to register & obtain gate key. website

Port Townsend Yacht Club - 48°06.50’ - 122°46.20’ P.T.Y.C. offers slips on “D” dock in Boat Haven for reciprocal yacht club members. Slip #281 (40’) is available all year long while Slip #282 (50’) is also available from June through Labor Day. Please register at Port Office and present your current club card. Check out time is noon. website

Poulsbo Yacht Club - 47°43.60’ - 122°38.30’ Modern facility and clubhouse located appx. 3/4 mile S.E. of downtown Poulsbo, a picturesque town with a Norwegian theme and heritage. Reciprocal moorage inside of breakwater float. Key pad on marina gate & restrooms. website

 

 

 

Queen City Yacht Club - 47°38.60’ - 122°18.90’ Q.C.Y.C. is located on the S. end of the W. shore of Portage Bay. The reciprocal moorage is on the S.E. side of Dock 3 at the outer end. Vacated member slips may also be available upon checking with the caretaker at the Clubhouse. Maximum 7 day reciprocal moorage. Skipper and/or family must be on board overnight. website

 

 

Richmond Yacht Club - 49°11.00’ - 123°08.30’ R.Y.C. is located at 7471 River Road, Richmond. By boat, you enter the North Arm of the Fraser Proceed up river under the Arthur Laing Bridge. Turn into the middle arm of the Fraser to starboard immediately after passing under the bridge. R.Y.C. is the last marina on the port side. A 50’ reciprocal dock with 15 Amp. power is available beside the large boat shed. Other space can be made available with a call ahead. Please check in with our resident caretaker or with any member on the docks. A reciprocal key for the marina and clubhouse is available in the clubhouse.

Royal City Yacht Club - 49°30.20’ - 122°54.20’ R.C.Y.C. offers moorage facilities on the Fraser River at Royal City Marina on Annacis Channel, New Westminster and at Shelter Island Marina in Richmond. 100’ of dock space is available at both locations (if available). Free to visiting yacht clubs for 24 hours. The marina monitors VHF Channel 68. Phone Kent Carbis: (604) 515-1980.

Royal Vancouver Yacht Club – 49Ί16.52’ – 123Ί11.23’ R.V.Y.C. ‘s sailing fleet is located at Jericho Beach in Kitsalino Harbour and our power fleet is located in Coal Harbour. Royal Victoria Yacht Club - 48°27.90’ - 123°14.36’ R.V.Y.C. is located about 10 nautical miles (4 land miles) from downtown Victoria in Cadboro Bay (N.W. corner of Oak Bay). Quiet location close to shopping and public transportation to downtown Victoria. Check in at foreshore office. website

 

 

 

Saltspring Island Sailing Club - 48°50.08’ - 123°29.30’ S.I.S.C. is located on the south side of Ganges Harbor. Max vessel length: 48 feet LOA (including all protrusions). : Two (2) non-consecutive 24-hour periods per calendar year free. 50 cents per foot per day, thereafter TIME LIMIT: FIVE (5) days per calendar year. Deposit payment in slotted lock box above visitors registration center. 15 amp service - $3.00 per day per cord, Wi-fi $2/day. Moorage is generally on the inside and outside of the marked breakwater or on members wharves as assigned by the Wharfinger. website

San Juan Island Yacht Club - 48°32.12’ - 123°50.01’ S.J.I.Y.C. is located above the U.S. Customs office, on shore, at the head of “E” Dock, at the Port of Friday Harbor, (N.E. end of Front Street). The Clubhouse is open whenever the U.S. Flag and our Burgee are being flown from the flagpole at the South end of the Clubhouse. Hours of operation are seasonally adjusted, and are posted on the bulletin board at the front door. There is a bar and lounge, restrooms, showers, and limited restaurant facilities available when the Clubhouse is open. S.J.I.Y.C. Reciprocal Moorage is located at the end of “F” Dock, Port of Friday Harbor, immediately inside the N.W. entrance to the docks. There is 80 linear feet of dock space available on first-come-first-served basis. No reservations. Rafting is encouraged. Check in with the Post Office at the head of the Main Dock - the S.J.I.Y.C. does not control space allocation. The first 24 hours are free is you are flying your reciprocal burgee. Water and 120 v 30 amp power are available at the dock. Pay for power at the Post Office. Schooner Cove Yacht Club - 49°17.20’ - 124°08.00’ S.C.Y.C. is located approx. 15 mi. N.W. of Nanaimo and 2 mi. N. of Nanoose Bay on Georgia Strait. S.C.Y.C. offers reciprocal moorage at the general marina to reciprocal clubs in good standing. In summer, availability may be limited by the number of berths vacated by S.C.Y.C. members. Advance moorage reservations may be made by calling ahead to the marina office. Schooner Cove Yacht Club -49.17.28 - 124.07.90 SCYC is situated just east of Fairwinds Schooner Cove Resort on the east side of mid-Vancouver Island, British Columbia is an area in the Strait of Georgia known to mariners as WG or Whiskey Golf. Semiahmoo Yacht Club - 48°59.60’ - 122°46.17’ S.Y.C. is located beside the Inn at Semiahmoo Resort. S.Y.C. asks you to moor at the fuel dock and register at the Marina Manager’s office. Moorage is offered to members of reciprocal clubs in good standing for 1 night per boat and a maximum of 3 boats per night. website

Sequim Bay Yacht Club - 48°03.99’ - 123°2.22’ S.B.Y.C. is located in Sequin Bay (6 mi. S.E. of Dungeness Bay). The bay is accessed via a well marked channel at the N.W. corner. Marina is marked by nav. lights at the East ends of the breakwaters at Pitship Pt. One night moorage in the John Wayne Marina is extended to members of reciprocal clubs on a space available basis. Check in with the Harbourmaster to be assigned guest moorage. Moorage includes power hook-ups as available. Caution: refer to reciprocal book at MBYC clubhouse for entrance instructions. website

Sidney North Saanich Yacht Club - 48° 40.50’ - 123°24.98’ S.N.S.Y.C. is located in Tsehum Harbor on the North side of Blue Heron Basin. S.N.S.Y.C. offers reciprocal moorage at North Saanich Marina on the inside of a 260’ dock. Register upon arrival as per instructions on visitors information posted on the shack on the reciprocal dock. Vacant member slips in marina can also be assigned by Forshoreman. website

Squamish Yacht Club – 49Ί41.69’ – 123Ί09.25’ S.Y.C. is located in Howe Sound (past Britannia Beach into Blind Channel). We are pleased to offer 2 nights moorage to reciprocal clubs. Please fly your club burgee. Swinomish Yacht Club - 48°23.70’ - 122°30.30’ S.Y.C. is in LaConnor Marina, LaConnor WA, located midway on the Swinomish Channel which connects Sagit Bay (South) & Padilla Bay (North). This marina, in the historic and scenic town, offers moorage in two boat basins on two guest docks, as well as vacated tenant’s slips. The reciprocal dock is located on “E” dock in the Port’s South boat basin and offers approximately 175’. All visitors must register dockside at the club caretakers boat or with a S.Y.C. representative. Please show current membership card. No boats over 50’. website

Tacoma Yacht Club - 47°18.50’ - 122°30.80’ T.Y.C. boat basin is situated on the N.W. entrance to Commencement Bay at Pt. Defiance (approx. 4 mi. N.W. of downtown Tacoma). Reciprocal moorage is near the clubhouse and guests must register upon arrival at the clubhouse. website

 

 

Vancouver Rowing Club - 49°17.80’ - 123°07.80’ V.R.C. is located at the N.W. end of Coal Harbor. Moorage is available all year. Dock space is very limited and reservations highly recommended. Call (604) 687-3400 to verify that space is available! Dock your boat at the guest dock, located behind the Clubhouse. Visitors must then register at the office for berth assignment. Please fly your Club burgee and have your membership card with you. The first two days of moorage are free of charge. Electricity is available at $0.75/foot/day, space permitting. 7 days max. - longer stays may be arranged through the office. A refundable deposit of $25.00 is required for a moorage gate key and club access card. website
